Canadian Forces Combat Camera crest

Canadian Forces Combat Camera

I designed this crest for the Canadian Forces Combat camera section.

The round crest is in the shape of a photographic lens, and uses the following symbols:

  • Globe – demonstrates the global nature of the deployments of the Combat Camera section
  • Quill – to indicate the Public Affairs function (the team is part of the Public Affairs directorate)
  • Lightning bolt – to indicate technology
  • Sword – to indicate military/combat

The name is bilingual (English/French), as per Canadian government standards under the Official Languages Act
